John Wilson

John Wilson was appointed to the Pikes Peak Library District Board of Trustees in January 2007.  He currently serves as Vice President of the Board.

Mr. Wilson works as a Senior Business Consultant for the Pikes Peak Workforce Center. In this capacity he helps businesses and organizations with strategic planning and full development of their talent.  He took the Library District through the development of its Blue Ocean Strategy.

John has had his own business advising clients in strategic philanthropy and worked in New York City for 8 years.  He earned a master’s degree from Northwestern University in Human Development and Social Policy and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Illinois.

John is really enjoying serving the Pikes Peak Library District and the community at large.  He and his family use the Library almost daily!
