Board Selection

The Library is governed by the Pikes Peak Library District Board of Trustees, consisting of seven members, who are appointed by a committee of members from the Colorado Springs City Council and the El Paso County Board of County Commissioners. Members of the community interested in being considered for a Board vacancy should submit a letter of interest along with a brief resume to the Mayor's Office. Members of the Board are appointed for a five-year term, with appointments taking place as necessary.
