Professional Life: A former Public Defender, Katherine is a criminal defense lawyer in private practice.

Community Involvement: Katherine has volunteered for the Children’s Literacy Center, United Way, Teen Court, and other community programs over the last 18 years.

Education: B.A. in Spanish and Latin American Literature from The Colorado College; J.D. from Washburn University School of Law.

Family and Personal Life: Katherine has twin daughters who love the library and are particularly attached to the children’s non-fiction section at Penrose. In her free time, she loves to explore life through travel, yoga, and art.
