Kathleen Owings

Professional Life: Kathleen is a Financial Advisor with New England Financial, a Metlife Company where she has been for the past five years.

Community Involvement: This is Kathleen's fourth year on the PPLD Board of Trustees. Kathleen has volunteered for the Children’s Literacy Center through the Peak Reader Program. She is also involved with the Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce, CSLI, and the local chapter of the West Point Alumni Association.

Education: Kathleen holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point. She and her husband served in the US Army. They lived and deployed all over the world to include Kuwait, Iraq and Korea.

Family and Personal Life: Kathleen has been married to her husband, Michael, for 11 years and they have one daughter, Emma and a black Labrador retriever, Sierra. Kathleen loves taking her daughter to their local community branch for books, movies, and programs. In their free time, they enjoy the wonderful outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer in all seasons to include hiking and skiing.
