Storytime
Children ages 3 and up, with a favorite adult, experience stories through books, flannelboards, puppets, songs and activities. This program encourages emerging reading skills by engaging children with shapes, sounds, rhythm and rhyme in a playful environment.

Toddler Time
One- and two-year-old children, with a favorite adult, participate in nursery rhymes, music and movement, and listen to a few short books. Toddler Time builds on familiar experiences to introduce new vocabulary and word sounds in a lively atmosphere.

Snuggle Up Storytime
A special family story time suggested for children older than 3 years old. Parents are encouraged to attend and participate, and children are encouraged to wear their favorite pajamas and bring a favorite cuddly toy.

Study Buddies
High School volunteers will help students in Kindergarten through fifth grade with homework or reading practice.

Bilingual Storytime
A bilingual storytime, conducted mostly in English with the opportunity to learn Spanish words and phrases. Children will have the opportunity to participate in the delights of rhyme, rhythm and a few special stories and songs.

Homeschool Lunch Bunch
Bring a sack lunch, enjoy meeting other home-school families and participate in an educational activity while becoming familiar with Library resources at the same time.

F.A.S.T.: Fountain After School Thursdays
Elementary-age children are invited to work on homework using our homework kits and laptops. Library staff will be available for help and reading practice. Come and meet new friends and have some fun!

First Friday Fun

Draw an Autumn Scene with Monart
Monart School of Art is a nationally recognized art program that teaches realistic drawing skills to students of all ages. Monart believes anyone can learn to draw by mastering the basic "shapes" that make up everything in our universe. Best for ages 4 and up.

Innovation with the Storm Troopers
How do those amazing replicas of the light wands and other weapons from the Star Wars movies work? Come and find out as the Troopers explain how they are all put together, and you will have a chance to make a paper wand to take home.

Brad Bearsheart Family Dancers perform Native American Indian Dancing and Drumming
