eMagazines Provides Virtual Access to
Hundreds of Magazines at the Library

Colorado Springs, Colo. (Oct. 1, 2012) – Beginning in October, Pikes Peak Library District is adding a new feature to its popular CyberShelf collection. Now nearly 400 popular magazine titles can be viewed by patrons on a variety of devices through the popular Zinio software platform. eMagazines at PPLD will allow public library patrons to read, interact with, and explore a large selection of magazines just by using their library card.

Zinio provides a quick and easy way for library patrons to read digital copies of their favorite magazines. Using their Mac or PC, reading fans will be able to access the library’s catalog of selected digital magazines. Popular titles like Climbing, Consumer Reports, Good Housekeeping, The Economist, and ESPN Magazine are just a few of the titles available.
