“One World, Many Stories” Summer Reading Parties at Library in July

Summer Reading Party at East Library
This is the central party for all of PPLD’s community libraries. Enjoy making your own music from around the world with drummer Bob Hall and the Kusogea Drum Ensemble. Come and race around an obstacle course, climb on a huge water slide, make some crafts from other countries, meet some animals, and much more!
Friday, July 29 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. – George Fellows Park (behind East Library), 5550 North Union Blvd.
Palmer Lake and Monument Library Party
Celebrate the completion of summer reading at a Global Fiesta! Come clap along, tap your toes, and feast your eyes on the color and rhythm of the cultural heritage of Mexico performed by Ballet Folklorico De La Raza. Explore the sights and sounds of the world through crafts, snacks, face-painting, musical instruments, and more. Then finish the day with a dramatic production of The Power of Music performed by local young library patrons!
Tuesday, July 26 from 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at
Palmer Ridge High School, 19255 Monument Hill Road in Monument, Colo.

Fountain Library Party
Celebrating Summer Reading and Our 5th Anniversary!
Come join us to celebrate the fifth year in our facility at 230 S. Main St. in Fountain!
