Join Pikes Peak Library District on Saturday, August 26 for the opening of a new Colorado Springs park, themed after Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. A free celebration for all ages will be held at Ye Old Castlewood Park, located off Happy Meadows Trail, from noon to 4 p.m.

Learn more about this year’s 2006 All Pikes Peak Reads book, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, while enjoying this unique, mystical park with castle-themed play equipment and a playground with both tiny and grand proportions.

Meet characters who will sign your own copy of the book. There will also be food, games and a grand prize drawing for an Extreme Bedroom Makeover in the theme of Alice In Wonderland!

APPR is a community-wide literary program designed to get everyone in El Paso County to read and discuss the same book each year. Come learn more about the book everyone will be talking about this fall!
