Hey, it’s election day and I voted. Ok, so maybe you are not old enough to vote in a school board or city or state or national election but you can vote for your favorite book instead! Next week is Children’s Book Week. What a great reason to vote for your favorite book here on our kids’ blog. In the comment box below, write in your favorite kids’ chapter book, picture book, or nonfiction book. (Your email address will be kept a secret.) I’m voting for: Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak
Also, starting January 2008 (a presidential election year begins!), you will be able to nominate your favorite picture book or chapter book on VoteForBooks.com. Vote and see if your book makes all the rounds and wins next November. See you at the polls!
