The Lobby Stop Van is on the Road!

Senior Mobile Van

Senior Citizens at 15 assisted living facilities have a new library service to look forward to twice a month, right in their own lobbies. This “Lobby Stop” service provides a 30 minute interactive program designed to generate conversations and discussions which will spark memories and common interests among the seniors. Library materials will also be available for checkout in the lobby (books, audiobooks, DVDs, etc.,) and will provide many hours of entertainment for residents that have been unable to visit a library.

This service was made possible by The Colorado Trust Healthy Aging Initiative Grant which provided PPLD with the needed additional funds to initiate the service.

The Mobile Library Services Department (formerly Bookmobile) welcomes this van to the Mobile Library Fleet!

For more information phone 531-6333, x2031 or x2312.
