East Teen Center Opens for Business

The East Teen Center opened its doors to the public this past Monday.

According to a Teen Services librarian:

“We opened this morning with teens waiting to get in!

At about 10:20AM we had 12 teen boys using the teen center!

The PCs have been full all day long and the video games have been in full swing as well!

Our mp3 players have been checked out as have our laptops :)

And I am currently listening to two teens using the writeboard lazy susan in the study room :)

And I see teens actually studying in the cafe (it’s the first day of school!)”

Talk about a success! Come on by, teens, the more the merrier!
