PowerPoint

In this class you will learn how to create a basic slide show using some of the common functions of Microsoft PowerPoint.
Prerequisite: Word II. Call 389-8968 to register.

Windows 7 Basics Class

Where: East Library - 5550 N. Union Blvd. at East Conference Room II

Become familiar with the parts of Microsoft Windows 7 by learning terminology, ways to open windows, how to toggle between windows, and how to save and open files.

1-on-1 Computer Session

When: Monday, April 21, 2014 - 9:00 AM - 9:45 AM
Where: Cheyenne Mountain Library - 1785 S. 8th Street Suite 100

Do you need a computer tutor? Sign up for a 1-on-1 session! Topics can include: Mouse Basics; Computer/Windows Basics; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher); Email; Facebook; Internet
Basics; Ereaders; and transferring digital photographs to a computer.
A reservation must be made and the topic approved in advance. Sessions are 45 minutes long, preferably between 9:00 a.m. to noon (other times are available). Contact Cheyenne Mountain Library to set up an appointment: 633-6278.

Laptop Lab

When: Tuesday, April 22, 2014 - 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Where: Old Colorado City Library - 2418 West Pikes Peak at Old Colorado City Meeting Room

Library laptops are available for use in our downstairs meeting room. Library staff will be on hand either to assist with personal projects from job skills to Microsoft Office products, or provide practice materials on computer basics. No registration required, but limited to first 10 attendees. Call the library for more information.
