Homeschool @ Rockrimmon - K9 Ability, Kimberly Carnevale

Where: Rockrimmon Library - 832 Village Center Drive at Rockrimmon Meeting Room

Join Kimberly Carnevale from K9 Ability to learn what it takes to become a Champion. Kimberly uses personal stories and K9 dog demonstrations to share how she challenged adversity to create success. Through her Champion Builder event, she will teach children how to overcome life's obstacles and become Champions! Registration required, limit of 45 participants. Homeschool Science @ East -- Egg Drop Prep

When: Friday, April 21, 2017 - 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Where: East Library - 5550 N. Union Blvd. at East Community Meeting Room

Have fun learning how to make a successful Egg Drop Container!

Grove will walk us through some of the best methods for making holders to keep your raw eggs in one piece when dropping them from the deck at East Library! (Build your contraption, then bring it back to East Library in May for The Big Egg Drop!)

Our Homeschool Science @ East programs are scheduled at 1 p.m. on the third Friday of every month. During this time our volunteers will have a special program for everyone to participate in. This is a family program so parents are expected to accompany their students. Lab equipment is available for you to use in the ERC (Educational Resource Center) during its normal open hours. Homeschool Science @ East is open to all ages, and (generally) no registration is required.

Homeschool Lunch @ High Prairie: Field Day

When: Wednesday, May 24, 2017 - 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Where: High Prairie Library - 7035 Old Meridian Rd. at High Prairie Meeting Room

Bring your lunch and prepare for a day outside! We will be doing varies Field Day activities outside. Don't forget to wear clothing and shoes you can move around in and bring sunscreen! Registration is recommended.
