Don’t see a computer class offering what you need? Call the library to schedule your own 1-on-1 computer tutoring session. Topics and time must be pre-arranged. Subjects include: Microsoft Office, job skills, online applications, Facebook, Craigslist, downloading ebooks and audiobooks, and more. 719-634-1698.

Career Compass Lab

In this class, you will learn about library resources that can help with your job search, resume, and interviewing skills. Please bring a flash drive, your resume, and your employment history for the open lab portion of the class.

Minding Your Business

Where: Penrose Library - 20 North Cascade at Penrose Computer Lab

Learn how to research starting or growing a business or how to find a job in Minding Your Business seminar from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at Penrose Library, 20 N. Cascade Ave. This class covers print sources, electronic databases and websites to help find information on industry, competition, vendors, financials, and more.


Laptop Lab

Where: Old Colorado City Library - 2418 West Pikes Peak at Old Colorado City Meeting Room

Library laptops are available for use in our downstairs meeting room. Library staff will be on hand either to assist with personal projects from job skills to Microsoft Office products, or provide practice materials on computer basics. No registration required, but limited to first 10 attendees. Call the library for more information.
