Baby Time

When: Thursday, April 27, 2017 - 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Where: Fountain Library - 230 S. Main Street at Fountain Meeting Room


Babies from birth to 12 months, with a favorite adult, enjoy songs, bouncing action rhymes, and sharing a book together. Each interactive session gives babies the opportunity to hear lots of language and play with other babies. Space is limited.

LEGO Build

When: Thursday, April 27, 2017 - 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Where: Fountain Library - 230 S. Main Street at Fountain Meeting Room

For kids 12 years old and younger: Join us after school for an hour of LEGOs!

Remember, for their safety, children ages 11 and under must bring an adult or responsible caregiver who is at least 12 years old with them to the library.

Stay and Play Storytime

When: Friday, April 28, 2017 - 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Where: Fountain Library - 230 S. Main Street at Fountain Meeting Room

Come read, rhyme and rock! A very interactive storytime that engages children ages two to five and their favorite adults in stories and songs in which everyone participates. After storytime, we invite you to stay and play with us! We’ll have fun toys, games and activities to enhance your child’s early literacy learning!

1-2-3 Play with Me! Family Place Playgroup

When: Monday, May 01, 2017 - 10:30 AM - 11:45 AM
Where: Fountain Library - 230 S. Main Street at Fountain Meeting Room

Join us for this enjoyable five week playgroup where you will spend time together with your little one, play, make friends and speak one-on-one with specialists on a different topic each week. Topics include: child development, nutrition, music and movement, speech and language, and early literacy.

Geared to ages 1-3 with a favorite adult. Older and younger siblings are welcome. Registration required. Please register each child who will be attending.

Storytime

When: Tuesday, May 02, 2017 - 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Where: Fountain Library - 230 S. Main Street at Fountain Meeting Room

Children ages three and up, with a favorite adult, experience stories through books, flannelboards, puppets, songs and activities. This program encourages emerging reading skills by engaging children with shapes, sounds, rhythm and rhyme in a playful environment. Stay after for a special make and take craft!

Toddler Time followed by Tots & Blocks

When: Wednesday, May 03, 2017 - 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Where: Fountain Library - 230 S. Main Street at Fountain Meeting Room

One and two-year-old children, with a favorite adult, participate in nursery rhymes, music and movement, and listen to a few short books. Toddler Time builds on familiar experiences to introduce new vocabulary and word sounds in a lively atmosphere. And did you know that block play also increases a child's language development? Stay and play with us after Toddler Time or drop in to build, balance, stack and crash with a variety of different blocks and other educational toys!

After School Adventures - Plant a Garden @ the Library

When: Thursday, May 04, 2017 - 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Be ready to get dirty. Plan on digging and planting, behind the library, in the vegetable garden bed. You may get a few seeds to take home and plant, too.

Remember, for their safety, children ages 11 and under must bring an adult or responsible caregiver who is at least 12 years old with them to the library.
