Ice Cream Science - Spring Break

When: Tuesday, March 28, 2017 - 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM

Ice Cream Science: We'll learn how ice cream is made by making our own - in less than 5 minutes! To do this we'll use one of the coldest substances in the world, liquid nitrogen, and see just what it can do ordinary materials.

Toddler Time followed by Tots & Blocks

One and two-year-old children, with a favorite adult, participate in nursery rhymes, music and movement, and listen to a few short books. Stay and play with us after Toddler Time or drop in to build, balance, stack and crash with a variety of different blocks and other educational toys!

Baby Time

Babies from birth to 12 months, with a favorite adult, enjoy songs, bouncing action rhymes, and sharing a book together. Each interactive session gives babies the opportunity to hear lots of language and play with other babies. Space is limited.

Stay and Play Storytime

Come read, rhyme and rock! A very interactive storytime that engages children ages two to five and their favorite adults in stories and songs in which everyone participates. After storytime, we invite you to stay and play with us! We’ll have fun toys, games and activities to enhance your child’s early literacy learning!

Young Rembrandts:

When: Saturday, April 01, 2017 - 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Where: Fountain Library - 230 S. Main Street at Fountain Meeting Room

Join Young Rembrandts to create African Safari-themed art! This program is aimed for children aged 5 - 12 years old. Please register each participating child. Supplies will be provided.

Children taught using the Young Rembrandts method produce remarkable
drawings. Your child's pictures represent a means, not an end. There is a bounty of additional skills your child will learn in each Young Rembrandts class: focus, self-discipline, persistence, problem solving, visualization, order sequencing, attention to detail and self esteem.

Storytime
