1-on-1 Computer Session

Topics can include: Mouse Basics; Computer/Windows Basics; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher); Email; Facebook; Internet Basics; Ereaders; and transferring digital photographs to a computer. Career Compass Series

Short classes will be offered on various topics followed by time to work on job searches, applications, résumés, etc., with assistance available. Pre-requisites: Computer and Mouse Basics; Microsoft Word. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Call or stop by the help desk to reserve your spot!

Laptop Lab

Where: Old Colorado City Library - 2418 West Pikes Peak at Old Colorado City Meeting Room

Library laptops are available for use in our downstairs meeting room. Library staff will be on hand either to assist with personal projects from job skills to Microsoft Office products, or provide practice materials on computer basics. No registration required, but limited to first 10 attendees. Call the library for more information.

55+ Technology, "Microsoft PowerPoint"

Students will learn how to create a basic slide show using Microsoft PowerPoint.

Introduction to 3D Modeling using 123D Design

When: Thursday, September 25, 2014 - 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM

An introduction to Autodesk's free 3D Modeling software. Great for those who want to get started in designing their own models for 3D Printing. This program is for intermediate and advanced computer users who are comfortable with computer navigation and Microsoft Office products, but no previous 3D Modeling experience is needed.

Word I

In this class you will become familiar with basic word processing skills necessary to create and save word documents by learning to read the Microsoft Word screen and entering and manipulating basic text.
Prerequisites: Completion of (55+) Computer Basics and experience using a mouse and keyboard
