Become familiar with basic word processing skills necessary to create and save word documents by learning to read the Microsoft Word screen and entering and manipulating basic text.
Prerequisites: Completion of (55+) Computer Basics and experience using a mouse and keyboard.

PPLD offers free online training in Microsoft Office products to all patrons whose library card starts with a 4. Enhance your job skills. These evening classes will introduce patrons to the subscription database: Learn On Demand, create an account for them, and get them started on one particular product. Prerequisites: Computer Basics and Windows Basics. Patrons must have a library card starting with 4 and know their PIN. Sign up online or call any library. This evening's focus: MS Word.
