Get Crafty!

Join us the first Wednesday evening of every month to make and take a seasonal/holiday craft! Each month will vary and information will be updated month to month basis and on our montly newsletters.
October's craft will be Mason Jar Pumpkins. Plese bring your own mason jar and we will supply the rest!

Lunch and a Movie: Non-Stop (PG13/106 min.)

Teen Council meeting

Fountain Teen Council...You are invited to meet other teens and help plan future teen programs. We need you! Teens can make a difference at the Library. We need Teen volunteers to help out with upcoming events at the library and around town. This does count for community services hours for your school. So come and volunteer today.

Domestic Vilence Awareness Month-Free Community Speaking Events

TESSA and the Pikes Peak Library District present information sessions and fundraisers to support TESSA, a safe house for survivors of domestic violence. Survivor art will be on display at Fountain Library.

Family Fun: Fountain Arts Center performing "Gwendolyn the Graceful Pig"

Enjoy a perfect day of ballet fun for the budding dancers and story lovers in your family when ballerinas from the Fountain Arts Center take center stage at the Fountain Public Library. Fountain Arts Center voice student, Abigail Brannen will read the picture book, Gwendolyn, the Graceful Pig,while the dancers perform the story.
Gwendolyn, the Graceful Pig tells the tale of Gwendolyn and Omar – two best friends who have big dreams. Gwendolyn longs to dance ballet and Omar wants to join the football team. There is just one problem – they are both pigs! Fountain Arts Center Ballet Company is excited to present this very imaginative tale promoting both literacy and movement. Author signed copies of the book will be available for purchase. The event is free. Bring your cameras.

Monday Afternoon Yoga Club

Goat Cheese Making Demonstration

In this fun workshop you will learn the basics of making an incredibly mild, soft herbed goat cheese. This simple and delicious starter cheese is made from fresh, raw goat milk from the GoatCheese Lady’s own goats!(Pre-registration is not required, however space is limited to first 40 attendees.)

Homeschool Lunch Bunch "Read It Before You See It" Book Club

When: Tuesday, October 21, 2014 - 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM

Homeschool families bring a sack lunch to enjoy. We'll focus on different book each month, with a brief discussion followed by the movie adaptation. All books chosen will have G or PG movie ratings. We encourage you to read the book together as a family before the program. Books for the upcoming month will be available at each program for checkout. October's book is "Peter Pan" by J. M. Barrie. The movie, "Peter Pan," is 113 minutes and rated PG.

Teen Gaming Day!

Teen Gaming Day….Join us for teen gaming day at the Fountain Library.
