Library Inspired Crafts

Join PPLD craft "expert" Tara Mazon in the meeting room to express your crafty side. We will be making a craft with recycled materials, with a loose library theme. Research Process: The next step to success discovering your ancestral past is to plan or map out your ancestral adventure. The Research Process, Evaluating Evidence, GPS, Locality Search, Internet Research, Research Logs, Journals and Plans, Archives, Libraries and Repositories, and Previous Research all will be the topics of discussion so you will know where you are and where you are goingÂ… besides backwards.

Class size is limited so registration is required. You can register online or by calling 260-3650.

AARP Mature Safe Driving Program

When: Wednesday, May 29, 2013 - 1:00 PM
Where: High Prairie Library - 7035 Old Meridian Rd. at Meeting Room

The nation's first and largest classroom driver refresher course specially designed for motorists age 50 and older. Upon successfully completing the course, graduates may present their course completion certificate to their insurance agents for a discount. A minimum of 10 students is required for the class to be held. Charge for the four-hour course is $12 for AARP members, $14 for non-members. Class size is limited. Registration is required, please call 203-4972.

Teen Henna Party!

We will also go over Twitter and Linkedin, and learn why these venues could potentially be important for your work and family life. Laptops will be available, but it is strongly recommended that you bring your own. Registration is required.
