Monumental Readers

AARP Mature Safe Driver Program

When: Saturday, June 22, 2013 - 1:00 PM

The nation's first and largest classroom driver refresher course specially designed for motorists age 50 and older. Upon successfully completing the course, graduates may present their course completion certificate to their insurance agents for a discount. A minimum of 10 students is required for the class to be held. Charge for the four-hour course is $12 for AARP members, $14 for non-members. Class size is limited and registration is required. Historic Walking Tour of Old Town Monument with local historian/filmmaker Jim Sawatzki.
Thursday July 18th Meet at 5:30 PM at Limbach Park (151 Front Street). Tour will take 1 1/2 Hrs, a 1 mile stroll.
Participants will receive a detailed brochure of tour as they learn Monument's early history through existing buildings left from the late 1800's. Call 719-481-3963 for questions.
