Great Decisions Discussion Group: The Future of Kurdistan

Great Decisions is America's largest discussion program on world affairs. Developed by the Foreign Policy Association (FPA), the program involves reading the Great Decisions Briefing Book and meeting in a local Discussion Group to watch a DVD and join in the discussion. Introduced more than 50 years ago, Great Decisions (www.fpa.org/great_decisions) continues today, with tens of thousands of participants nationwide.

Old Colorado City Book Group

Monthly meeting to discuss that month's book selection. Books are determined by group vote a year ahead of time and the choices are listed on PPLD.ORG under Find a Good Book, Book Clubs. Come every month, or just for the books you want to read. You are welcome to bring a snack or lunch as this group meets in the middle of the day.

Read Across America - Teen Read-In

Celebrate Read Across America Day at the Old Colorado City Library! We'll be taking over the Community Room with reading forts and quiet groups talking about their favorite books.
