Tween MAKE Mondays! (ages 9-12)

Where: Library21c -1175 Chapel Hills Drive at Make (Clean Maker Space)

Come join us for an exciting time building and programming Mindstorms robots with the Synergists! They are a high school robotics team ready to guide tweens through a fun-filled hour of challenges that will make them want to build more, program more, and learn more! Teen Open Room

Where: Fountain Library - 230 S. Main Street at Fountain Meeting Room

The community room is reserved just for teens. Bring in your laptop or use one of ours. Movies and some games will be available.

Family Craft Night

When: Tuesday, August 04, 2015 - 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Where: Old Colorado City Library - 2418 West Pikes Peak at Old Colorado City Meeting Room

Children ages 7-12 accompanied by an adult are encouraged to join us the first Tuesday of every month for a special craft night. We will be finger knitting, making tee-shirt bags, and more!

Teens On Laptops!

When: Wednesday, August 05, 2015 - 3:30 PM - 6:00 PM
Where: Old Colorado City Library - 2418 West Pikes Peak at Old Colorado City Meeting Room

Laptops are set aside for teen use only in the Community Room. Come on down and do homework, play games, play music, or just surf! Some days we will have wii or other special activities. Brought to you by OC3, our teen advisory council.

Guys READ: A boys book club

The mission of Guys Read is to motivate boys to read by connecting them with materials they will want to read, in ways they like to read. Older teen guys match with young guys to promote reading and literacy. Join us for a rowdy book discussion, snacks and craft. Ages 9+. Contact Staff for more information. ccarter@ppld.org

Party for SRPTeen Volunteers

When: Wednesday, August 05, 2015 - 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Where: Monument Library - 1706 Lake Woodmoor Drive at Monument Meeting Room

A party for the tweens and teens who volunteered to help with Monument's Summer Reading Program. Good food and lots of fun! Volunteers will receive a certificate stating the number of hours volunteered.

Lego Mania

Tween Movie Night: Boxtrolls

Burlap Stencil Craft (6th-12th grades)

Where: Manitou Springs Library at Upstairs

Sixth – twelfth grade teens, create a burlap design with stencils and paint. No fee and no registration required.

Knitting Kninjas

When: Thursday, August 06, 2015 - 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Where: East Library - 5550 N. Union Blvd. at East Teen Center (ETC) A

Come join other teens and learn different stitches, patterns, and techniques! Feel free to bring your own supplies and knitting projects, but we will also have yarn and needles to use. For beginners to experts, ages 12-18 only.
