Presenter Bios

Nita del Regato Peters is the second daughter of Dr. Juan del Regato, a cancer specialist who was recruited by Julie Penrose to found and administer the Penrose Cancer Center in 1949. Mrs. Penrose housed the family at the Broadmoor Hotel and the family knew her as a friend. Ms. del Regato Peters is a retired teacher of deaf and learning disabled children. She has lived in Kansas City, Missouri and West Bloomfield, Michigan.
