Presenter Bios
Lynn A. Gilfillan-Morton, M.Ed., Colorado State University. Lynn combined a background in biological sciences, health, and education with an interest in historical research and writing. She has begun to investigate the history of health care in the Pikes Peak Region, focusing on collecting the stories and records surrounding the regional growth of health care between 1860 and 1980. Lynn co-authored The History of Healthcare in the Pikes Peak Region, (2005). She is a volunteer at the Special Collections department of the Pikes Peak Library District and is cataloging the archives of a local hospital system. Lynn was a presenter of the Pikes Peak Library District symposium on William Jackson Palmer and presented the keynote address at the Extraordinary Women of the Rocky Mountain West symposium. As a private consultant, Lynn specializes in health and business systems project management.
