PPLD offers free online training in Microsoft Office products to all patrons whose library card starts with a 4. Enhance your job skills. These evening classes will introduce patrons to the subscription database: Learn On Demand, create an account for them, and get them started on one particular product. Prerequisites: Computer Basics and Windows Basics. Patrons must have a library card starting with 4 and know their PIN. Sign up online or call any library. This evening's focus: MS Powerpoint 2007. Teens! Another boring summer staring you in the face? Would you like to help volunteer to help children in grades K - 5 with reading this summer? Register for our Reading Buddies Training. Old Colorado City Library will host a Reading Buddies program every Thursday from 3-5pm in June and July.

June 8th is International Yarn Bombing Day, and the first day of World Wide Knit in Public Day. The Stitch-Wits stitching group and OC3 teens will be hosting a yarn bombing of the Old Colorado City Library (pillars, trees, light posts, books!). Have a piece you can add? Come join us!
