PPLD Dedicates Resources to Assist Fire Efforts

With another fire ravaging our community, PPLD is endeavoring to help out as best we can.

  • We have assembled a comprehensive list of resources related to the Black Forest Fire, which has been posted to our website ppld.org.
  • Our High Prairie Library (7035 Old Meridian Rd., Falcon) is offering Internet access and laptops for in-library use to anyone affected by the Black Forest Fire, whether they have a library card or not.
  • In addition, PPLD is providing laptops for use at the Red Cross Shelter at New Life Church (11035 Voyager Pkwy., Colorado Springs). UPDATE: The New Life Church shelter has been closed due to heavy smoke. Evacuees are transferring to Palmer Ridge High School. We are also delivering a variety of power supplies and adapters for various smart phones, tablets, and laptops to the Red Cross Shelter at Palmer Ridge High School (19255 Monument Rd., Monument).

cell phone chargers

We also dropped smart phone chargers at the New Life Shelter, if anyone needs them. Trying to scrape up some older cell phone chargers in case there is a need.
