Update: Tri-Building Project Fund Raising

Update: Tri-Building Project Fund Raising

PPLD wants to share some good news with you. Last week, we received a $150,000 grant from the Mary K. Chapman Foundation. It will be paid out over 3 years at $50,000 per year. That brings us to $1.25 million pledged and raised to date! Since we started out with $3.9 million to raise, that leaves us with about $2.65 million to raise over the next 3 years.

We also named campaign co-chairs from the community to help us raise the remaining funds needed for the Tri-Building Project. Laura Muir, President and Owner of Momentum Advertising and Craig Anderson, Partner with NAI Highland Commercial Real Estate and current PPLD Foundation Board member, have agreed to serve for 12 months to get us through the next $1.5 million. They worked on the successful fundraising for the 1905 Carnegie Library restoration.

Finally, the three PPLD volunteer Boards; Trustees, Friends, and Foundation, met last week to pledge their commitments to the Tri-Building Project. The Boards are coordinated and attached is the Campaign Structure that we will coordinate our efforts to successfully raise these funds.

Thank you for your support and stay tuned!
