Studio Equipment
PPLD’s studios offer access to equipment and tools to help bring your recording desires to life. In these spaces, you’ll find items such as DSLR cameras, audio mixers, isolated sound booths, microphones, musical instruments, professional-grade video cameras and lighting, and even a green screen.

Career Online High School (COHS)
Available by scholarship through PPLD, Career Online High School (COHS) offers to adult-residents living within the Library District’s service area, who have completed eighth grade and are 17-years old or older, the opportunity to earn their high school education and gain career training through a self-paced, supportive, and accredited online education program.

LENA Start
Have you ever wondered how much you talk to your baby/toddler? Would you like to learn ways to increase talk and get your child ready for school? This 10-week program meets weekly to give you tips on how to increase conversational turns and parents will receive a free book each week! The child will receive a gift at graduation and three gift cards throughout
the program!


The Invisible People of the Pikes Peak Region Book Release
Join Pikes Peak Library District’s Special Collections team for a virtual book release of The Invisible People of the Pikes Peak Region by John Stokes Holley. Special presenters included PPLD Senior Adult Services Librarian Melissa Mitchell and Colorado Springs native Sharon Tunson. Speakers will include PPLD Chief Librarian and CEO John Spears and the book’s editors, Takiyah Jemison and Heather Jordan. Registration is required for this virtual event.

Vegetable Gardening
Virtually join Irene Shonle, Master Gardener from the El Paso County CSU Extension Office, to learn how grow your own vegetables.

Teens & Tweens Code: Design a Logo!
Learn about computer science from the programmers at Google, and then use loops, events, and sequencing to design and animate a Google logo using Scratch, a block coding program from the good folks at MIT! For ages 9 - 15.

Virtual Murder Mystery Party: Assassin Among the Crew
Join us for a virtual “Among Us” themed murder mystery party! For ages 12 - 18.
