Align Your Brand with Purpose

What makes your company, your organization, your product, or even you yourself unique? No matter who you are, you have a brand - your personal brand is your reputation. You may also have a different brand for your business and/or your artistic creations. This series will focus on techniques and language that will help you clarify your brand from the ground up by making it more effective, simple, and memorable.

  1. Part 1. Body of Your Brand: In the first part of this series, attendees will learn the concept of a brand identity system while focusing on design and values. The class will go over how to create an authentic avatar for yourself or your company. Brands are like people - they have a heart, a mind, and a full body. What is the body of your brand?
  2. Part 2. Intro to Design Language: This part of the series will go over the creative and aesthetic parts of creating a brand. Think of your brand in a critical, artistic way while learning the basic principles of design and effective communication.
  3. Part 3: Optimize Your Client Experience: In this part of the series, attendees will learn how to think about their brand from the perspective of their audience, whether that means clients, donors, customers, or simply friends and family. Learn how to make your brand work for those you're trying to reach.
  4. Part 4: Clarify Your Message: What is your personal or professional message? Learn how to use creative content to clarify your message and focus on engagement rather than just the number of people following you.
