MAKE @ East March Programs

MAKE @ East

Here is just some of the many programs being held in MAKE @ East in March. For a complete list of programs, click here.

Drop-in Painting
Wed., March 7 and 21 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Amateur artists are invited to MAKE @ East to experiment with watercolors (watercolor paints, watercolor crayons, and watercolor pencils!) at this fun and informal drop-in program. We’ll supply the brushes, paint, and paper; just bring yourself! Ages 9 and up. Ages 9 - 11 must be accompanied by an adult. No registration is required.

Maker in Residence: Collage, Contemplation and Conversation
Sat., March 10 from 2:30 - 4 p.m.
Art requires engagement in our senses…i.e., “Stop and smell the roses.” When introducing collage techniques Joanna encourages class participants to attune themselves to the visual images, colors and shapes that “speak” to them from the materials at hand. No art-making experience needed. All materials will be provided, although, if you have images (from magazines, calendars, copies of photos, etc.) of your own that you want to include, please bring them. Ages 18 and up. Registration is required.

Spa Series: Face
Sat., March 17 from 2:30 - 4 p.m.
Treat yo’self! In the third of our Spa Series, we’ll focus on the face. We’ll make rosewater toner, vanilla coffee lip scrub, and a warming honey face wash. Ages 9 - 15. Registration is required.
