AfterMath

When: Monday, April 24, 2017 - 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Where: Manitou Springs Library at Lower Level

ONE HOUR OF FREE MATH TUTORING for all ages and all levels of math! Registration required for Manitou location 24 hours prior to tutoring session.

Though we really enjoy having your kids here, please remember that it is PPLD policy that children under 12 years old cannot be left alone in the library without an adult. Please make arrangements for your student to be picked at the end of their registered time slot. Thank you for understanding!

Marvelous Mondays: Anime Club

Stop by the teen area every Monday to see what movie/activity/craft we're doing. Snacks provided! Ages 12 to 18 only.

Sand Creek Chess Club and Tabletop Gaming

Library 21C Teen Advisory Board (TAB)

When: Monday, April 24, 2017 - 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM
Where: Library21c Study Rooms -1175 Chapel Hills Drive at A1

Teens who are interested in becoming more involved in their community or library are invited to join TAB. Teens work with the librarians to decide what their group would like to do. Teens can give input on library YA collections, help lead/create programming, volunteer at events, organize community service projects, and/or influence how their library serves teens.

Rockrimmon Anime Club

Do you have a passion for Anime and Manga? Are you between the ages of 13 and 18? If so, join Rockrimmon’s Anime Club! Come and enjoy fun, prizes, food, manga, and much more with fellow Anime lovers. We meet every second and fourth Tuesday of the month. No registration required, just bring yourself, and your passions. Some Anime’s are rated PG-13 and have mature content.

Teen Dungeons and Dragons Club

Join teens who are passionate about Dungeons and Dragons!

Program is for ages 12-18. Space is limited to 20 participants. Registration is strongly encouraged.

AfterMath--Free Math Tutoring!!

Is math homework getting you down? Are finals freaking you out? Do you need to brush up before the ACT, SAT, or GED? Our experienced math tutors can help you improve your grades and take the stress out of math.

No appointments - Drop in! This runs from 3:30 to 6 p.m.
We will not have AfterMath in the case of school breaks, or weather closures (either District 20 or Library 21c).

Teen Arts and Crafts Open Studio

When: Wednesday, April 26, 2017 - 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Where: Monument Library - 1706 Lake Woodmoor Drive at Monument Meeting Room

Hey Teens! On the last Wednesday of each month, come use our Meeting Room as a space to create! Supplies will be provided as available; however, feel free to bring whatever materials you are currently working with and use the space. This month we'll be featuring magnet-making as our craft.

Teens on Laptops

When: Wednesday, April 26, 2017 - 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Where: Old Colorado City Library - 2418 West Pikes Peak at Old Colorado City Meeting Room

Laptops are set aside for teen use only in the Community Room. Come on down and do homework, play games and music, or just surf! Occasionally we will have the Wii, crafts, or other special activities. Brought to you by OC3, our teen advisory council.

Manitou Teen and Tween Advisory Board

Have a great idea for a club? Want to help plan awesome programs and events? Come join the Manitou Teen Advisory Council and earn volunteer hours, meet other teens, gain leadership qualities and maybe even build your skills for applying for jobs, college applications and scholarships one day! Can't wait to put your hands on a keyboard and write your story? Now the next step is sharing it and critiquing it with other young adults. Join us for some exceptional writing, sharing, and discussions.

S.A.L.T.: Spring Greening

Part 2 of the Spring Greening program! We will finish the project from the week before and also have something new for everyone!

Teens and Tweens MAKE at East

When: Thursday, April 27, 2017 - 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM
Where: East Library - 5550 N. Union Blvd. at EA Makerspace

Every second and fourth Thursday of each month, we will MAKE something in the East Makerspace.

The second Thursday is always a sewing project, and the fourth Thursday is always something different that may incorporate the laser cutter, 3D printer, or other tools available in the East Makerspace.

Today, we will be making Mother's Day Gifts! Laser cut frames, alcohol ink vases, and a fancy schmancy bath scrub! Come check it out!

Creating with Clay (Ages 9 & Up)

National Poetry Month: Blackout Poetry
