The Tri-Building Project defines the next phase of PPLD’s distinctive service delivery that meets 21st century needs of families and businesses of Southern Colorado. Your donation helps underwrite PPLD’s exceptional service to everyone in the Pikes Peak region.

Library 21c, at 1175 Chapel Hills Dr., opened the summer of 2014, completing phase I of the Tri- Building project. With more than 70,000 sq. ft. of innovative library space, Library 21c is designed to encourage enterprise, build skills, create new content, and connect our community.
Phase II of the project involves partial renovation and expansion of public space at Penrose and East Libraries.

Penrose Library Renovations:

  • 14,000 square of new public space
  • Teen Center, new performance and exhibit space
  • Additional study and meeting rooms
  • Enhanced children's area with garden
